In this class we will go through a number of exercises inspired by the flexibility, mobilty, conditioning and strength drills used by professional contemporary dancers and performers. Through a mix of targeted workouts, playful exercises, and flexibility drills, you’ll develop a stronger, more resilient body while enhancing your range of motion. Perfect for all fitness levels, this class blends technique and fun to help you move better, feel better, and enjoy the process.

SOFT ACROBATICS

Soft acrobatics is an open movement class designed to build the foundations needed for a safe acrobatic movement practice. In this class we will dive through different topics such as rolling, floorbased movement, handbalance, basic inversions and combinations. Skill based training will be complimented with playful exercises and explorative research. Through this versatile, full-body training approach we call body preparation, combined with technical work, you will not only strengthen your body but also develop mobility, fluidity, and overall physical intelligence to support a well-rounded and sustainable movement practice.

Movement flow is an open-level class focused on building and maintaining the physical foundation needed to move through basic movement flows with ease. (inspired by floorwork, soft acrobatics and martial arts) In each class you will be introduced to a set of moves with the aim to connect them to create a dynamic combination.
Through this versatile, full-body training approach “body preparation”, combined with skill work, you will not only strengthen your body, but also develop mobility, fluidity, and overall physical intelligence.

FLOORWORK

Floorwork is an open level class designed to help you develop a versatile and well-rounded floor-based movement repertoire. Understanding how to use the idea of releasing certain parts of our bodies while moving, as well as generating tension, momentum and power with our core lays at the core of our practice. We will push, pull, slide and roll across the floor and combine moves into dynamic flows and sequences. Join this class to expand your movement vocabulary, to strengthen the connection to yourself and to the one dance partner that is and will always be present: the floor.

This class uses playfulness as a method to build adaptable, responsive, and well-rounded movers. Through simple objects such as sticks, tennis balls, and other tools, we explore and challenge coordination, reaction, rhythm, spatial awareness, and fine motor control. Guided partner exercises further develop balance, timing, and communication through shared movement tasks. This class is active and dynamic, designed to expand your physical abilities while strengthening your overall movement foundation.

HANDBALANCE

This is a class dedicated to building the stability, strength and control needed to move and balance upside down. Starting from the classic handstand, we explore different ways to enter and exit inverted shapes. We view our handstand training as a tool to develop body awareness and refined motor skills. These foundations open the door to multiple variations and related movements. This class is designed to support not only acrobatic skills but also overall body awareness and physical well-being.

Get a glimpse into our different teachers teaching styles and their movement practice while coming together as a community to train. Every session will be led by a different teacher out of our team/ community and will bring new inputs and flavours into your training. Just a nice and relaxed way to start the weekend together.
